Asparagus!

For any of you that love asparagus (and I do!) or even those of you that don't - there is nothing better than to pick it out of your yard and eat it the same day!! The benefit of having too many mortgages LOL is that the house we will soon sell has asparagus that I planted 8 years ago!! A couple weeks ago I went over there and nothing!! But then - today - Voila!! So exciting - take a look at my beautiful asparagus (in a Bob Chinn's Tiki Mai Tai cup!!).




For those of you reading this - it's working! I feel like I can't let you down now!

By the way, I love Trader Joes and made it over there today. I bought a whole grain pancake mix (has whole wheat flour, oatmeal, etc) and I don't usually buy mixes... but it said you can use it for waffles as well and many other items. Anyway, I also bought the dried cranberries - which Luka loves - and made breakfast for dinner! Luka had cranberry waffles and loved them. The rest went into the freezer for future breakfasts. Just wanted to share.
